Welcome to the Clark County Families & Educators Training Series

Resources for Transitioning to Adulthood

The Family Training Series is a learning series for families and educators supporting individuals with disabilities. It is offered by the Clark County Developmental Disabilities program, the Clark County Parent Coalition, PAVE, and the Vancouver, Camas and Evergreen School Districts. This website serves as a year-round resource hub, complementing the live training series by providing families with continuous access to valuable information, tools, and recordings. It’s designed to support families and educators beyond the live sessions, ensuring ongoing guidance throughout the transition journey.

This learning series provides information and resources to families preparing for their students to transition from school to adult life. Each session focuses on a unique area of the transition. The information in the sessions are targeted for families and educators, although other community members who are interested in transition are welcome. In addition to the presentation, attendees have the opportunity to network with the presenters and other community members who have attended each session.

Select training recordings are available on-demand and live sessions take place once a month from September to April. The 2025-2026 series is available to attend virtually and in-person. See individual session details and registration on the 2025-2026 Series page.
